Mercedes has announced today (January 7, 2023) that the automaker will install charging points around the world for its plug-in hybrid vehicles. The news comes after Mercedes announced the company’s new research vehicle that has already broken records and has been named as the Vision EQXX.

In 2 tweets posted by the official Mercedes Twitter page, they wrote;
”Mercedes Benz announces the launch of a global high-power charging network in North America, Europe, China and other key markets”
“This will accelerate our journey towards an all-electric future and create a global charging infrastructure”
Mercedes’ high-power charging network will be rolled out by the end of 2023 with 10,000 charging station units to be distributed in the mentioned countries. Once the global car brand has built the stations, Mercedes drivers will be able to pre-book a charging station spot from their mobile device or car.
