Fresh produce packaging for export.
Plan product protection, ventilation, carton arrangement and handling around the export route you use.

Describe the route.
Share the product, packing location, storage conditions, transport steps and destination.
Product & fill
Identify the fruit, size range and filled weight. Include the current pack if one is already in use.
Storage & transfer
Describe cooling, storage time and each transfer between packing and arrival.
Destination & opening
Name the destination, receiving conditions and the point where the carton is first opened.
Follow the pack through handling.
Review filling, cooling, carton packing, loading and arrival before the first opening.

AI packaging illustration Fill & close
Check the fill position and close the pack with the actual fruit.
- 2

AI packaging illustration Cool & hold
Record the storage condition and look at the pack after the holding period.
- 3

AI packaging illustration Pack the carton
Record orientation, count and contact between packs and carton walls.
- 4

AI packaging illustration Load & transfer
Describe how cartons are stacked, moved and transferred along the route.
- 5

AI packaging illustration Receive
Record the carton condition on arrival before opening.
- 6

AI packaging illustration Open & inspect
Check the first opening, pack closure and fruit position before unloading the carton.

Turn handling conditions into pack requirements.
Fruit support
Look for movement, pressure points or fruit contacting the lid. Relate each observation to the actual fill.
Airflow & moisture
Review vent position, surrounding packs and the storage condition. Record visible moisture rather than assuming a ventilation result.
Closure
Check the rim and closing points after filling and after handling. Note where opening or distortion occurs.
Stacking
Review the filled stack and carton together. Agree the load and conditions for the physical check.

Fit the pack to the outer carton.
Check closed dimensions, orientation, count and clearance as one arrangement.

Closed dimensions
Measure the outermost lid, rim and base with the pack filled and closed.
Orientation & count
Record the first row, full layer and complete carton using the same pack.
Clearance
Look at side gaps, lid clearance and the way the carton closes. Keep the real measurements with the photographs.

Review under relevant conditions.
Agree on the sample checks and documents for the actual product, pack and destination.
Example: plan a fruit-to-lid check
A review plan for one standard pack filled with real fruit.
- Check
- Close the pack with the intended fill and place it in the intended carton. Check where fruit meets the lid and whether the rim closes naturally.
- Record
- Keep the pack and material version, fruit, fill, carton position and handling step with a photo of the contact point. Add what you observed, the proposed change and the check to repeat.
- Confirm
- The buyer and A BOX confirm the sample version, observations, agreed change and scope of approval together. Record who confirms each part before the next sample is compared.
This example sets out a fit check. Enter observations from the physical sample; agree separate checks for cold storage, transport and production-line use.
From illustration to a physical check.
The diagrams explain what to inspect. Use your filled pack and route conditions to create the sample record.
Keep photos and observations with the pack and material version. Agree the next check before comparing another sample.

A short question is enough. Add the fruit, destination or handling step if you know them; dimensions and photos can follow.
